Three days before we say goodbye to 2011, and welcome the new year 2012 -- a fresh start, a new beginning, a renewed hope, a better year. Yes, this coming year will be a better one. But I don't want to talk about what is to come, but rather what has gone by -- 2011.I'll admit, this year wasn't my "A-game"; I've had a fair share of ups and downs [And "downer", and "downest". ] but I survived. I freaking survived all of it! [I maybe over reacting, but hey, this is my blog, so hush!] And I have to thank God for E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G. For all the blessings, success, opportunities, happiness, sadness, hurt, pain, trials, rejection.. AS IN EVERYTHING! If it wasn't for Him [And his supercalifragilistic plans] none of these would be possible. He also gave me a bunch of amazing people to help me get through it all. I'd like to thank ALL OF YOU! ♥♥♥
The past year [Yes, I shall start calling it 'The Past."] has taught me a lot of lessons about love, friendship, life in general, and most importantly... chances. I've learned that chances are not only meant to be given to another person, we should also give it ourselves. A chance to be better, to go further, to start over, and to give more. I don't want to go into details, but all I know is that chances shouldn't stop at "second chance".. There should be a third.. fourth.. even a fifth chance. [When the situation calls for it.]
Taking chances also means taking risks. It's a little scary, but as what they say, "You've got to lose some to win some." You'll never know what you're missing if you don't go after what you want. Take that chance. Take the risk. And if things don't turn in your favor, charge it to experience. And while you're at it, try to have a little fun. There's no harm in trying. Neither there is in taking chances.. so go!
LIVE LIFE TO THE FULLEST.
LIVE TO LAUGH AND TO LOVE.
AND MOST OF ALL, LIVE FOR THE GLORY OF THE LORD.
And with that.. Let's cheer to the new year that's ahead of us!

What do you say to taking chances? What do you say to jumping off the edge? Never knowing is there's solid ground below, or hand to hold, or hell to pay. What do you say?
